Black Friday sale started just a few hours ago. Managed to grab the bag I liked before it gets sold out, just like the last time where I spent too much time deciding which one to get and ended up with the dreaded "SOLD OUT" message. Coach factory sale September 21, 2013

 I missed posting two consecutive sales before this...But it's on now, and only a few hours left.
Nothing exciting, except for a black Madison bag that caught my eye. Nothing much on clearance that I liked either...But unless you forgot to buy something at the last sale, and really WANT to buy it now, go ahead, but if you're not in a hurry, might as well wait for the next two day sale.

Furla Mandarin ostrich-embossed leather 'Greta' large shopper tote

I've been wanting a Furla bag ever since I saw this in Rustan's Makati and Resorts world manila, both sell it at P23,500. It retails for $398.00 in furla.com plus taxes(CA sales tax) and shipping total of $446.05x 44=P19,626.2. For a measly price difference of P3,873.80, I think it would make sense to just buy it here in P.I. That P3,873.80 savings will just go to the shipping fee to the Philippines, plus you'll have to wait for it to get here, an average of a month, a good looonngggg month. When I make a purchase in the U.S, I always consider the savings I'll make and the hassle of waiting. If the price difference is about 40-50% less, I go for it, otherwise, I'll buy it here. Needless to say, I don't think I'll be buying this bag. Soooooo.....

Enter the Ostrich-embossed leather 'Greta' large shopper tote! My sister isn't really fond of ostrich embossed leather, she associates it with an animal who died from chicken pox before being skinned and made into a bag. Gory I know. My cousin Cris, isn't too partial to it either, prolly because of the chicken pox theory. But it's MY bag, in the end, I'll be the one stuffing it with my ginormous wallet (with no cash in it), chocolate & candy wrappers, make-up kit, paper works, receipts from year 2011, used tissue, you know, girl stuff.

The only thing that will tell you that it's FURLA is the metal detail at the center which has the FURLA logo written on it, other than that, it is a pretty simple leather bag, except it screams orange, plus, let's not forget the chicken pox details. Full price was $628 and at 50% off at bluefly.com, I just had to have it, pox and all!

Park Leather Carrie Tote style: F23284

Okay, so I've mentioned on one of my oldest post, my cousin( ex coach fan), has given me the privilege of using her coachfactory.com account. This time around, instead of just me going on a shopping spree, she did a little shopping of her own. She took a liking to the Park leather bags, particularly, the white one. It is, or was, available in other luscious colors. She bought in on the September 8, 2013 sale event at $125.00, today, at the September 11 sale event, it went up a little higher at $129.50.

It's on!!! September 9 event started a little over 3 hours ago. It's a one day sale only, not surprising as they just had a two day sale on September 7. I must admit that today's sale didn't give me the urge to buy anything, maybe because I purchased two lovely madisons two days ago. Ha! Coach Factory Sale Email Invitation

I made it! I made it to the list! I guess coach doesn't hate me after all. I don't know what happened, it was only recently that I posted about getting into the online sale WITHOUT receiving an exclusive email invitation from coach, then August 28, 2013, I started receiving them...Every 2-3 days. It may be considered spamming, but to us Coach fans, it's like receiving a love letter. A few days before I started receiving the email invites, I did offer to start adding people to the coach membership portal, did that help? I really don't know. But it's worth a try! So, for coach factory members who have yet to receive an email invite from coach, try inviting some of your friends to join. It would help if they actually complete the membership process. Good luck! And my sincerest thank you's to those who asked for their emails to be added to my coach membership invitation list.

Back in january, I wrote about how to get an exclusive email invitation from coachfactory.com. I provided the steps I went through, only to find out they were all failures. Since January 2013, till today, August 12, 2013, I have yet to receive an email from coachfactory.com about upcoming online sale events, yet I am a registered member. Today, while  I was randomly checking my favorite online shops for sales and such, I logged in my coach factory account (not my cousins account), and it led me straight to their August 12, 2013 event. I don't know if I should be happy, or pissed off, because, when I checked my email address, I didn't find any invitation. So, basically, you can get in the sale event without receiving an invitation in your email. If you're already a member, but you have yet to receive an email invite, just log in your account in https://www.coachfactory.com, and hope that it leads you straight into the sale, that is, IF they are indeed having an online sale event on that day.
Otherwise if you see the image below, either they don't have an on going sale, or they're not letting you in.

If you still haven't received an email invitation from coach, but is a registered member, and just want to check if there's an ongoing sale, just log in your account. If the image above is what it's showing you, visit my blog, to check for updates. Chances are, I've already posted the ongoing sale.

Thermaltake Massive23 LX Laptop Notebook Cooler

A friend asked me to buy this for him in amazon.com, as he couldn't find one here in the Philippines.

A few days ago, I went ahead and bought a laptop. I wasn't really thinking of getting a cooler or other accessories for it because besides getting it at a bargain price, it came along with a free Logitech M185 Wireless Mouse and a really nice Sennheiser HD201 Hi-Fi Headphones. All I needed was a mouse pad. Until I realized, I do most of the typing on the bed, (not advisable I know). Laptops have little feet underneath which raises the base a couple of centimeters to allow the vent to "breathe". Placing a laptop on a soft surface, will cause the laptop to "sink", thereby completely obstructing the vent. The laptop can easily overheat because of this. So I decided to get a cooler, not really to "cool" the laptop, but I needed something flat and hard to place my laptop on when I'm using it on the bed. I wasn't really interested on a particular brand.

I accidentally found it in PC Express Southmall. Cash price is P1,150.00, credit card price is P1,230.00. When I took the thing out of the box, I thought it looked familiar, so I checked my friends order, and confirmed that it's the exact same thing. Not really that bad, except, he'll have to wait till late September for his.

Overall, it looks and feels like it's going to last, made with light but sturdy material. The fan is huge! Cooling capacity is okay, but I expected better. The blue led lights are actually kind of cool, you can turn it off independently if you just want to use the fan. It has two usb ports (2.0) on the left upper side. Fits 10-17" laptops. Will recommend.
